ohhhhhh boy, the whole section on discipline. I need to print that out and read it 3 times a day. Whew.
ReplyDeleteThank you for such an informative post! Can you recommend any books on him other than the one on his dreams (which we already have)?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely his memoirs which it looks like are only available on Kindle right now: http://amzn.to/2khz4LP. The Educational Philosophies of St. John Bosco I read years ago and I remember it being very good! I wish some publishers would rerelease some of his own writings but they're very hard to find now.
DeleteThese are really awesome!! I may print this out and keep them handy, since he was given to me as our family's "Saint of the Year," and I have dropped the ball on researching him... but, I console myself knowing I still have 11 months to learn more about him!
ReplyDeleteHe came up as my Saint of the Year this year. This post is very helpful!
DeleteThis was very fruitful! Thank you so much for posting, Mary!
